Programme Costs

Our highly trained educator will visit your parent group or organisation to present an interactive session for parents that lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Session fee: $150

She will bring a small selection of carefully chosen books for sale, and provide time at the end of the session to browse and buy. There is no pressure at all on parents to buy a book; books are provided solely for the convenience of parents who wish to buy an appropriate title at the time.
Price range: $12 - $20

By asking parents to pay a small charge to attend, you may be able to raise useful funds for your group or organisation. Parents report an improved skill level and greater confidence in handling the sex education of their children following attendance at a session, and are happy to pay $10-$20 for this opportunity.

If you are able to arrange an audience of 20 parents, each paying $20, either through your own organisation, or by joining with another group, you have already raised $250 after the session fee is paid.

In addition, SexTalk for Parents is happy to offer an introductory commission to all new groups that host a session. We total the book sales made at the session within 48 hours and pay into the organisation's nominated bank account, by electronic transfer, a sum equal to 5% of the after-tax sales made at the event.

Depending on the size of the audience you are able to organise, it is easily possible to generate $300-$400 whilst providing members of your parent group with increased skills, and an opportunity to raise happier, healthier children.
